Overview

Advanced electron microscopy is the central experimental direction of my doctoral training at the Center for Quantum Materials. I am interested in combining structural imaging with electron spectroscopy to study quantum materials across real and momentum space.

Question

The broader scientific question is how local structure, electronic excitation, and collective behavior can be related through carefully controlled electron measurements.

Approach

My current training focuses on electron-optical alignment, probe formation, aberration-corrected microscopy, STEM imaging, and electron spectroscopy.
